Following the revelation by a veteran musician, Mzbel that gospel singer who doubles as a pastor has refused to return $300 that he took from her, Sonnie Badu is ready to give the same amount to charity.
It could be recalled that MzBel days ago confirmed that she has successfully retrieved the $300 she claimed was owed to her by the gospel musician and was failing to refund the money.
Sonnie Badu after paying the said amount has also gone viral with a video in which he claimed the holy Spirit has dropped in his heart to pay $300 for students who could not afford their fees, patients who could not settle their medical bills and widows in need of money.
The “Let it rain” hitmaker also added a number that those individuals could call, stressing that he was starting the charity offer in Ghana before extending it to other countries.
In the light of this, Bra Emma, the journalist through his medium that Mzbel disclosed about the eight years debt that Sonnie Badu was feeling reluctant to pay had rebuked the act of the gospel singer.
Speaking exclusively with Max TV flagship entertainment program e-Quick on Friday, he said Sonnie Badu did not respond to the issue well.
“Sonnie Badu’s management should have released a press statement declaring an investigation into the allegations Mzbel made instead of releasing the video to give out $300. That has shaped the whole narrative,” he stated.
Bra Emma also revealed that per what Mzbel said, the money she used her debit card to pay was to book something for Sonnie Badu and was surprised to know what the pastor booked.
