Black Queens goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan has expressed confidence ahead of Ghana’s friendly against Morocco today.
Ghana’s senior women’s national team will face the Atlas Lionesses at the Père Jégo Stadium in Casablanca, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00 GMT.
Speaking to the Ghana FA website, Konlan highlighted the team’s readiness and belief in their abilities.
“We’re confident and believe we have an advantage over Morocco,” she said. “They might be relying on outdated information about our style, which could work in our favour. We’re ready to surprise them and seize this opportunity.”
After this fixture, the Black Queens will play AS FAR Rabat in another test match three days later.
Both matches form part of the team’s preparations for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) later this year.
