Ghanaian winger Solomon Asante has officially signed with Texoma FC, marking a major statement of intent as the club gears up for its debut USL Championship season.
The 34-year-old, a two-time USL Player of the Year, brings a wealth of experience from stints with Phoenix Rising, Indy Eleven, and Las Vegas Lights. His dynamic attacking style and leadership qualities are expected to be key assets for Texoma FC in their inaugural campaign.
Head coach Adrian Forbes expressed excitement over the signing, praising Asante’s impact both on and off the pitch.
“He is an incredible attacking talent and a fantastic human being who will mentor our young players,” Forbes said.
Texoma FC President Ben Watson echoed these sentiments, emphasizing Asante’s winning mentality.
“Solomon has won almost every accolade in the USL—we are privileged to have him,” Watson added.
With Asante now in their ranks, Texoma FC aims to make an immediate impact in the 2025 USL Championship season.
