Serie A witnessed a harrowing scene earlier on Sunday, December 1, when Fiorentina took on Internazionale Milano, as the match was abandoned due to Edoardo Bove collapsing.
In desperate and emotional scenes, Bove collapsed onto the ground, and soon enough, the players of both teams surrounded him in a circle as medics rushed to work on him.
The match was suspended as Bove was carried off into an ambulance and rushed to the hospital.

The players looked very emotional and distraught when returning to the locker room, and it was later revealed that he was breathing safely at the hospital.
Bove’s first goal for La Viola came in October against his parent club, AS Roma.
Fiorentina are third in Serie A, level on points with Inter.
