Jordan Ayew, captain of the Black Stars, led his team to donate to the Dzorwulu Special School on Wednesday just before flying out to Luanda for a 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier.
He sought the support and prayers of the children with special needs for the Black Stars as they prepare to take on Angola on Friday.
The Black Stars, accompanied by Team Manager Aminu Shardow and Communication Director at the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum, donated in support to the school food items, water, and an undisclosed amount.
“For us, we believe that lending a hand of support is divine and a virtue that we all need to develop to help the underprivileged in society. We have been making a lot of donations and visitations before games but today, we thought it wise to come over here and support you.
“We seek your prayers and support going into our crucial game against Angola on Friday,” he said to the school.
