2025 AFCON Q: Why Black Stars must expect a hostile Estádio 11 de Novembro

Date:

The Black Stars of Ghana must anticipate a very hostile and intimidating atmosphere at the Estádio 11 de Novembro on Friday when they take on Angola.

The Palancas Negras of Angola are determined to maintain their unbeaten record by beating the Black Stars in their penultimate game of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

More than 170 buses have been made available by the government of the province of Luanda to convey masses of Angolans to the Estádio 11 de Novembro to cheer the Palancas Negras to victory.

Forty thousand fans are expected to fill the stadium as prices of the tickets have been reduced for the last home game of the qualifiers for Angola, setting up a carnival atmosphere.
