Musicians whose marriage collapsed did not fasten it to the ‘firm rocks’ – Piesie Esther

Date:

Celebrated singer Piesie Esther has insinuated that gospel musicians whose marriage collapsed did not “fasten it to the rock, which cannot move.”

According to her, she established her marriage in the word of God and “fastened it to the firm rock” for it not to “shake” even when the marriage sees its downturn.

Piesie Esther said this during an interview with Max Morning Show in Accra on Thursday, where she declared that she had not done anything extraordinary to breathe into her marriage but only established it in the firm rock.

“If you ask me what I have done for my marriage to survive, I have done absolutely nothing. If I say I am humble, I did this or that, then I am telling lies. I haven’t done any unique things to make my marriage sail through. It’s by the grace of God.”

“I always tell my husband that we established our marriage in the word of God and have fastened it to the firm rocks so whether the wind will blow or the tides will roll, it (the marriage) will still stand firm and we will overcome all those challenges,” she said.

Piesie Esther made it clear that no woman entered marriage with an idea to split in the long run, but it only “takes the grace of God to overcome challenges in marriage.”

She also stated that her husband was involved in her ministry, explaining that it could be a reason her marriage had been able to survive till date.

“My husband is part of everything I do. Wherever I go, he follows me. He even followed me to this place. I thank God that he gave me a helper as a husband, and he devoted himself to helping my ministry grow,” Piesie Esther added.
