D-Black fights politicians in a new track ‘SMH’

Date:

Hip-hop artist D-Black has advised the citizenry not to be deceived by the mouthwatering promises of politicians and to make a wise decision on December 7 for a successful transition of governance.

In a new track dubbed “SMH,” D-Black goes to the gutters with the politicians to highlight the economic hardship bedeviling the country.

He lamented in the song that the country was endowed with natural resources that could bring relief to the ordinary Ghanaians, but the leaders were misusing them, contributing to the hardship the citizenry was facing.

The “Enjoyment Minister” encouraged Ghanaians not to fall for the numerous promises made by the politicians to vote resoundingly.

“Elections are coming again. Who are we choosing my friends? He asked.

“They are promising things, eheh; we ain’t falling for this again. When elephants fight, it’s the grass that suffers.”

“Our motherland has the potential to blow; our country is rich with cocoa and gold. So what will happen to the promises made?” D-Black queried.

He expressed concern over the increasing unemployment among the youth and the recent protests that had led many to be detained.

D-Black disapproved of the detention of the protesters, saying, “intelligent youth, they are caging us. When issues are raised, they silence us, and when we revolt, they are jailing us.”

He urged Ghanaians to rise up and express their opinions through voting for “the change we wanna see, be the people you wanna be.”

“If you have conscience, hold your hand up. If you are hurting inside, ball your fist up. If you love Ghana, make us wise up. On December 7, lift your thumbs up and vote,” he stressed.
