Barima Sidney reveals why he went on hiatus

Date:

Celebrated Hiplife artiste, Barima Sidney has revealed that he took a musical break from the industry to help in the campaign of the former Liberian President, George Weah.

According to him, his 2003 smash hit “Abuskeleke” trended in Liberia, compelling Weah to search for him to support his campaign during those times he ventured into politics.

Barima Sidney made this known in an interview with Max Morning Show in Accra on Friday, when he opened up about the reason he went on hiatus.

He said he supported Weah in the best way he could with his music; hence, he had to abandon his career in Ghana to relocate to Liberia.

However, Barima Sidney said he was now back for good and has released BBF (Bibia B3y3 Fine), a song that featured King Paluta, to announce his return to the industry.

“Right now I have returned, and I am going to give it to Ghanaians back-to-back. I am not going anywhere; I am staying right here, and after my BBF, I am bringing new ones, so they should anticipate,” he added.
