Jude Bellingham, who received a fine and a one-match suspended ban for a gesture he made during England’s last-16 victory over Slovakia, is free to take part in Saturday’s Euro 2024 quarterfinal matchup between England and Switzerland.
The 21-year-old has been fined £25,400 (30,000 euros) and his ban has been suspended for a year.
Uefa looked into the midfielder’s crotch-grabbing action toward the Slovakian bench following his late equalizer in the 2-1 win.
Bellingham denied that the gesture was directed at England’s rivals. He made it when playing for Real Madrid.
