Ghana’s national women’s under-20 side, the Black Princesses, have been handed a dicey group in the upcoming FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup to be hosted by Colombia.
Ghana is in Group E, alongside New Zealand, Japan, and Austria.
The Black Princess will kick off the tournament against Austria on Monday, September 2, 2024, at El Techo Stadium.
Africa will be represented by Nigeria, Morocco, Ghana, and Cameroon in the South American nation.
Group A: Colombia, Australia, Cameroon, and Mexico
Group B: France, Canada, Brazil, and Fiji
Group C: Spain, USA, Paraguay, Morocco
Group D: Germany, Venezuela, Nigeria, and the and the Korea Republic
Group E: Japan, New Zealand, Ghana, and Austria
Group F: Korea DPR, Argentina, Costa Rica, Netherlands
