Goalkeeper Kaylin Swart of Banyana Banyana of South Africa is optimistic that her country can qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games ahead of their longtime rivals, Nigeria.
The two titans of Africa are competing for one of the two seats that Africa has to Paris 2024.
The two-leg qualification looks to be an exciting, very tactical battle.
“Playing against Nigeria is always a great battle, we are familiar with each other only because we have had battles for many years up until now and this one is no different,” she told CAFonline.
“I have full confidence in my teammates, and I think if we just stick to our strengths as a team and play for each other, we will get the results we need.”
