Business contractor and President of Kenpong Football Academy Kennedy Agyepong, has commended Fadda Dickson Narh, Managing Director of the Despite Media Group, for his high level of professionalism and positive attitude towards work is one of the reasons of the group’s success story.
Fadda’s relentless efforts, effective and efficient managerial acumen has won the Despite Group multiple awards, both locally and internationally.
The double FIFA World Cup official travel agent – Kenpong Travel and Tours (Brazil 2014, Qatar 2022) boss mentioned in telephone interview that Fadda typifies the leadership by example phrase. “Fadda represents true loyalty and hard work,
l have said it times without number that he is the reason for the success story of the renowned media organization, Despite, his boss sits back and could attend to other businesses because Fadda has demonstrated trustworthiness over the years,” said Kenpong, also referred to as Cappuccino.
“I really admire him, l love him for his dedication to work. When we were on the PV Obeng-led Kotoko’s board in 2003, Despite told me he (Fadda) resumes work as early as 5am, he goes round to ensure everything is moving as planned. His passion for work makes him unique. If every employee will take a cue from him, companies will flourish and Ghana will be a better place.
“It is almost 2am, l just spoke with him, he is still at post making sure the most-watched United Showbiz show runs smoothly, this is what I refer to as true leadership, l will continue to praise him for his exemplary leadership qualities,” he added. In 1999, he was handed the Finance and Administration position of Peace FM (Radio) and subsequently grew it into a media behemoth under his direction.
He has steadily climbed the corporate ladder and currently serves as the Managing Director of the Despite Media Group, comprising Peace FM, HELLO FM, Okay FM, Neat FM, Peacefmonline and United Television (UTV).
Dr. Dickson Narh as part of the many laurels won, was inducted into the 2018 Hall of Fame at the 2nd annual Ghana Entertainment Awards held in the United States of America and also decorated with an honorary doctorate degree by the Alfred Nobel University, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Ukraine.
