As per onefootball.com Ghana’s chances of winning the 34th African Cup of Nations, which begins in Ivory Coast on January 13, 2024, are 5.3%.
On Sunday, January 14, in Abidjan, the Black Stars of Ghana will play the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde. Although Ghana appears to be the overwhelming favorite to win on paper, their opponent could still be a challenge given their recent experiences against minnows.
Ghana hasn’t won the title in 42 years, although coming within a whisker of doing so in 1992, 2010, and 2015. Many Ghanaians are doubting Ghana’s chances in this year’s tournament as a result of the Black Stars’ underwhelming results under coach Chris Hughton.
