Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC moved from 12th to 10th on the league standings after a 1-0 victory over Bibiani Gold Stars at the Tarkwa Akoon Park on Boxing Day.
In the 74th minute, Medeama took the lead thanks to a penalty kick converted by Kwadwo Amoako.
Following the loss, Frimpong Manso’s Bibiani Gold Stars have now only won once in their previous six games, having drawn twice and lost three.
The next encounter for Medeama is against Karela United, and the match of the week 17 Ghana Premier League will see Bibiani Gold Stars play Legon Cities.
