GHS: Ghana’s Coronavirus Case Count Now 9,638, As 176 New Infections Confirmed

According to the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Ghana’s Coronavirus case count has increased to 9,638 following 176 new infections confirmed.

The increase comes barely a day after 294 new Coronavirus infections were recorded.

According to the GHS, 89 more persons have recovered , bringing the number of recoveries to 3,636.

Leaving the country with 5,958 active cases, the death toll remains 44,

The Greater Accra region remains the epicenter with 6,309 infections, followed by the Ashanti region which has 1,645 cases.

Western Region – 624

Central Region – 489

Eastern Region – 166

Volta Region – 102

Western North Region – 74

Upper East Region – 42

Northern Region – 37

Oti Region – 28

Upper West Region – 22

Bono East Region – 7

North East Region – 2

Savannah Region – 1

Bono Region – 1

Ahafo Region – 0
