2024 PARIS OLYMPIC Q : Why Black Queens will give 150%

Date:

The coach of the Black Queens, Nora Hauptle, has assured her side will give 150% when they face Benin this afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Queens will be taking on Benin in the Paris Olympics qualifier second leg following an outstanding 0-3 victory over their opponents in Cotonou last Saturday in the first leg.

Nora Hauptle, ahead of today’s tie, spoke with the press: “We gave them two big chances, but I am very happy that we still kept a clean sheet. That makes me even more proud than scoring three goals. In the second half, we could have scored one or two goals more.

“In all, I am very satisfied, but we lost a lot of energy on the pitch. Now it is about good recuperation. We will give 150% when we play on Tuesday.”
