2024 PARIS OLYMPIC Q: Ghana Vs Benin – Preview

Date:

The Black Queens of Ghana will face off with Benin at the Accra Sports Stadium at 3 p.m. in the second leg of the 2024 Paris Olympics qualifiers.

The Queens secured an impressive 0-3 away first-leg win at Stade de L’Amitie in Cotonou thanks to goals from former Hasaacas Ladies’ striker Doris Boaduwaa and Gifty Assifuah.

Doris Boaduwaa scored the Queens’ first goal from the penalty spot just before the end of the first half.

Gifty Assifuah doubled the Queens’ lead in the 72nd minute after bursting forward to neatly slot the ball beyond the reach of the Beninoise goalie.

She got her brace and Ghana’s third after a long lob-pass from the back, which she controlled perfectly to execute expertly.

Nora Hauptle’s ladies will be looking to replicate that amazing victory this afternoon and also maintain their perfect winning streak since she took over.

Possible XI for the Queens: Konlan Fiindib, Egyir, Boakye (c), Jennifer Cudjoe, Azumah Bugre, Achiaa, Nyamekye, Boaduwaa, Adubea, Assifuah.
