The imminent move of Ghanaian sensation Ernest Nuamah to Olympique Lyon has been discussed by Jan Laursen, the FC Nordsjaelland’s director of sports.
The move is a massive business, according to FC Nordsjaelland’s sports director Jan Laursen.
“A transfer of that size is not just something that is done in an afternoon. It’s big business,” he said.
“Yes, if it’s going to happen. We have, as it were, said that if it were to happen now, we set an extremely high bar. There is then more than one club that has chosen to cash in,” Jan Laursen said after FC Nordsjaelland’s 5-0 win over Partizan last week.”
He continued, “We just reach a point where it is so extreme that it might also make sense to do it. We have also been able to look at Ernest, who has done fantastically, how much is at stake for such a young lad.
“When our demands become something, he must also be allowed to decide what he wants.”
The Ligue 1 giants are expected to soon announce the signing of the Black Stars winger.
