Medeama SC striker, Jonathan Sowah, has revealed that he promised his supporters he would score ten goals in the second round of the BetPawa Premier League this season.
The former Danbot striker has been in fine form for Medeama SC in the second round of the league season, scoring ten goals since joining the club in January, propelling the club to first place on the league standings with just a game to go.
Speaking on Max FM, the striker expressed his gratitude to some of his loyal supporters, stating that their prayers have helped his Medeama career, and disclosed that he promised to get them ten goals in the second round.
“My supporters are key to me. They motivated me to get up and play when I had my surgery and couldn’t play. I promised them ten goals for the second round”, the striker said in the interview.
Jonathan Sowah will be leading the attack for Medeama in their last game of the season against relegation-threatened Tamale City at Akoon Park, a game where a draw would be enough to see the ‘Mauve and Yellow’ crowned champions for the first time in their history.
