Victor overheard Virgilio talking to Dante on the phone. He asked what it was about and Virgilio told him that Alex had been transferred to another troop. Victor was hoping to form a cyber-security team with Alex as the lead so he asked for him to return. Virgilio also told Victor that Abdul Waajid was actually Saal Alhuraji, Yosef’s son.
Victor had a meeting with Dante, Raul and Virgilio about Saal. They told him that Yosef’s wife escaped with their son. Victor was upset and wanted them to hunt down Saal because no Alhuraji should be left alive. He had a vendetta with Yosef because he was the one who killed both his wife and daughter. Dante was sent to take out Yosef and Victor thanked him for taking revenge on his behalf.
Alex and Abe were transferred to Lourdes’ troop and were out on patrol when they encountered a mine. Lourd stepped on the trigger and asked Alex to disable the mine so that it would not explode. Loud later called Virgilio to inform him of what happened. Virgilio wanted to recall Alex because Victor wanted him back but Victor asked to let him stay because he was needed by the troop.
Lourd asked Alex to dig the trenches they would use to sleep in and refused to let Abe help him. She badgered him to hurry up and Alex wondered if he had done something to upset her. In the evening, Alex called his friends at camp to catch up. Lourd reprimanded him again for using his phone at night because it could be used to track them.
The following morning, Lourd sent Alex to get some supplies. He went with Abe and the two of them took the chance to investigate the Alhurajis. They found out that Yosef had another son, Hakeem Alhuraji but they could not find his death certificate. Abe told Alex that Hakeem might still be alive and the soldiers might have lied in their report.
When they got back, Alex followed Lourd out into the woods. She was still thinking about Noah and called Jethro to tell him what she was up to. Alex apologized since it seemed Lourd was always upset with her. Lourd told him that he was a good soldier but they could not afford to make any mistakes in their line of work because it would lead to someone losing their life.
