2023 CHAN: Black Galaxies will prepare well to progress from the group stage – Annor Walker

Date:

Coach Annor Walker, head coach of the Ghanaian team Black Galaxies, has hailed his team’s placement in Group C in the 2023 CHAN championship draw.

At a ceremony in the host nation of Algeria on Saturday, October 1, CAF formally conducted the draw for the competition the following year.

Following the draw, Ghana was placed in Group C with Sudan, Morocco, and Madagascar.

Coach Annor Walker responded to the draw by saying that his players would properly prepare to guarantee their passage to the knockout stage.

“Every group is tough whatever it is that’s why you’ve qualified for the competition. Which group do you want to be in? God knows what he is doing.

“What we have to do is to prepare well to progress in the group. I don’t see it as an easy group but it depends on your preparations and how you approach every match. The most important thing is your preparations,” Coach Annor Walker said in an interview.

The 2023 CHAN is expected to take place between January and February of the following year.
