The 8th edition of the Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Africa Awards came off on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
Among the winners were Ghanaian international footballer Mohammed Kudus, who won the Discovery of the Year award, and former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, who received the Continental Icon Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to football on the continent and his philanthropic work.
Reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year, Black Sherif, and actor Bill Asamoah won the Actor of the Year award, with Alex Apau Dadey and Beatrice A. Agyemang winning the overall Man and Woman of the Year awards, respectively.
The EMY Africa Awards, organized by Exclusive Men’s Club International, honors individuals in business, entertainment, and sports who have made significant contributions to society, promoting the development of men and boys in Africa.
