The Ghana Football Association has announced that the men’s senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars, will pitch camp in Accra on Thursday, May 30, 2024, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Mali and the Central African Republic.
Before departing for Bamako to face Mali in the first game on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, the Black Stars will be training at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium will host the next qualifier between Ghana and the Central African Republic six days later, on Monday, June 10, 2024.
Coach Otto Addo’s Stars kicked off the qualifiers with a 1-0 victory over Madagascar, courtesy of a late Inaki Williams goal, before losing to Comoros in the next match by the same scoreline.
