Renowned Ghanaian industrialist and philanthropist, Dr. Nick Danso Adjei, has received the prestigious Lifetime Africa Achievement Prize at the 2025 Millennium Excellence Awards, held at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
Dr. Danso Adjei, Executive Chairman of Ghana Link Network Services Ltd, was recognized for his immense contribution to national development, particularly in trade facilitation through innovations like the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS), which has enhanced efficiency at Ghana’s ports and borders.
Beyond trade, his impact spans the energy sector and job creation through various ventures. He described employing others as his greatest source of joy and pledged to continue supporting Ghana’s growth, including completing a cement factory this year.
In his acceptance speech, he acknowledged the role of his family, friends, and hometown in his success.
The Millennium Excellence Awards, held every five years under the patronage of the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has honoured over 100 changemakers since its inception in 2000.
