The Ghana Football Association has revealed Essiam Socrates’ Hannah Nyame missed the first training of the Black Princesses after the team arrived in Senegal.
The Ghana U-20 Women’s side are in Dakar to face Senegal in the first leg of the 2024 Women’s U20 World Cup qualifiers.
“The Black Princesses held their first training session in Senegal ahead of the 1st leg of the final round FIFA u-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Senegal.
“Twenty-two Princesses were involved in the training except for Hannah Nyame who missed the session due to a minor injury,” the Ghana FA said in a statement on its website.
The Black Princesses will face Senegal on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in the first leg at Stade Lat Dior in Thies, with the 2nd leg fixed for the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Sunday, January 21, 2024.
