Democracy Cup Partnership with Sunderland FC

Date:

The Democracy Cup has just gotten much better and more attractive courtesy of a huge partnership with an English Premier club.

Primaeval Media Limited, organisers of the Democracy Cup, has secured an exciting partnership with Sunderland FC.

The winner of the 2026 Democracy Cup will engage in an international friendly encounter with the English club.

Henry Asante Twum, Director of Communications at the Ghana Football Association, announced this at the appreciation ceremony for sponsors and partners of the 2025 Democracy Cup, held at Parliament’s D.F. Annan Auditorium in Accra on Wednesday night.

“Through the efforts of the organisers, Primaeval Media Limited, and the Office of the Right Honourable Speaker, we have secured a partnership with Sunderland Football Club in England. So, the winner of the next edition will travel to England,” he said.
