Abdul-Nasir Oluwatosin Oluwadoyinsolami Adarabioyo, known commonly as Tosin Adarabioyo, has been advised by an official of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to contact the organization if he wishes to represent the Super Eagles.
The 27-year-old had in the past rejected advances from the NFF to don the colors of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Adarabioyo, born to Nigerian parents in London, began his footballing journey through the prestigious Manchester City Academy before sealing a permanent move to Fulham following loan spells at West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers after graduating from the Arab-owned club academy.
Prior to signing for the two-time European champions Chelsea, Adarabioyo had been approached by former Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro.
“Jose Peseiro traveled to meet with him in the UK last year to speak to him about playing for Nigeria, but he told the coach at that time that he was not ready,” an NFF source told ESPN.
“If he wants to make the switch now he knows what to do.”
