World Cup 2022: I’m always ready to give my best for the Black Stars – Tariq Lamptey

Date:

Tariq Lamptey, a Ghanaian international, has stated that he considers himself fortunate to be a member of the Black Stars team traveling to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Brighton & Hove Albion defender claims that he is constantly prepared to offer the Ghana national team his all whenever his services are required.

“I don’t think you can just pick one. We are blessed to be in the position that we are in. For me especially, it’s my first experience at the World Cup, I am just trying to soak everything and when its time, give my best for the team on the pitch,” Tariq Lamptey shared.

Last Thursday, as the Black Stars began their World Cup 2022 campaign, the versatile defender came on for Ghana in the second half.

Unfortunately, Ghana lost 3-2 to Portugal after a full 90 minutes of play.

With a victory over South Korea on Monday, Tariq Lamptey and the Black Stars will have a better chance of moving on to the knockout round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
