Work hard else you’ll be in opposition – Diana Asamoah to NDC

Date:

Following the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) loss in the 2024 general elections, renowned gospel musician Evangelist Diana Asamoah has advised supporters of the party to remain steadfast in their faith in God.

She also urged the winning party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to focus on hard work; otherwise, they might be in opposition more than they expected.

Speaking in a recent media interview, Diana Asamoah expressed the need for unwavering faith despite the monumental defeat the NPP suffered.

“If you win or lose the election, try as much as possible to put your trust in God. By His grace, nothing will shake us because it’s still possible, and it’s still NPP. All I want to tell you this morning is to put your trust in God,” she stated.

The “Anopa Wim” hitmaker emphasized that losing was not the end of the race but a means to propel one to be strong “because I knew that God is not a one-way being.”

She also advised the winning party to focus on hard work rather than relying solely on their party’s success.

“I also want to tell those whose party is in power to put their hope in Christ and work hard. If you put all your trust in your party, you will remain inactive, and before you know it, you’ll find yourself in opposition,” she added.

The gospel musician emphasized that true blessings come from God’s favor, regardless of political affiliation.

“A government can be in power, but without the grace of God, you won’t receive the favor of men. However, when God’s favor is upon you, you will receive His mercy. As long as we are alive, we will eat from both sides,” she said.
