Otto Addo, head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, has chosen to stay grounded despite leading on top of the FIFA World Cup qualifying table.
With 15 points at the top of Group I, the Black Stars are poised to take on the poorest performing team in the group, Chad, in the next round of the qualifiers.
Otto Addo, speaking to Max TV ahead of the games against Chad and Mali, stated, “We need to progress gradually.” We are not there yet.”
He called for focus on the match against Chad at the all-new Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Deby in N’Djaména.
“We must focus on the Chad game and hope that we can win it,” he shared with Prince Annang while on a scouting mission at the Nsekyire Stadium.
