Emiliano Martinez has informed Aston Villa he wants to join Manchester United.

Reports circulated on Sunday that United are juggling two goalkeeper options of Martinez or Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens.

They have also floated the prospect of Jadon Sancho going to Villa in a separate deal.

Villa boss Unai Emery was far from happy with Martinez whose actions detailed their plans ahead of their game with Crystal Palace on Sunday night.

Villa are signing former United defender Victor Lindelof on a free after he underwent a medical on Sunday.
