Mohamed Salah has taken to social media to share a lonely picture in the gym just days after his explosive outburst at Leeds.
The Liverpool forward, 33, heavily criticised the club and manager Arne Slot in a bombshell interview to reporters after being named on the bench for a third successive match at Elland Road.
As a result, Salah has not been included in Liverpool’s Champions League squad to face Inter Milan on Tuesday, remaining behind at Anfield to train away from the first team.
During his explosive interview, the Reds forward accused the club of throwing him under the bus and said he had no relationship with under pressure boss Slot.
It remains to be seen whether Salah will play again for Liverpool before he jets off on international duty with Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations next week.
The post, which was shared to Instagram on Tuesday morning, has been liked by his former Reds team-mates Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, who have both left Anfield under controversial circumstances in recent seasons.
