Belgian coach Tom Saintfiet has confessed his dream to coach the Black Stars of Ghana.
Now with Mali as the head coach, Saintfeit suffered a loss to Ghana in Accra on September 8, which crashed his team’s hopes of reaching the World Cup.
While he was exiting the press room after his post-match, a journalist of Adom FM jokingly asked him if he’s the next Black Stars head coach, to which he replied, “Inshallah.”
Saintfiet guided The Gambia to two AFCONs, revealing he has always harboured the dream of leading Africa’s best footballing countries.
Having the utmost respect for Otto Addo, Sanfeit did not shy away from declaring his openness to working with the Dortmund-trained coach.
“I would be glad to work with Otto Addo in Black Stars’ coaching,” Saintfiet said on Adom TV.
