Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Swedru All Blacks have named Egyptian tactician Ahmed Ibrahim Fathi as their new head coach ahead of the 2025–26 season.
The 39-year-old signed a two-year deal and was officially unveiled on Wednesday. He replaces Prince George Koffie, the coach who guided the club back to the top flight after over a decade in Division One.
Fathi boasts rich coaching experience from the Egyptian Premier League, having served as assistant coach at clubs such as Ismaily SC, El Gouna, El Dakhleya, National Bank SC, and Ghazl El Mahalla.
He also brings expertise in performance analysis from his time with Modern Future FC and Eastern Company.
Joining the technical team is video analyst Mohammed Adily, who is expected to strengthen the club’s tactical preparation and scouting.
Swedru All Blacks last featured in the Ghana Premier League during the 2008–09 season. Their return, under Fathi’s leadership, marks a new era with hopes of stability and success in Ghana’s top-tier football.
