Sports Minister-designate Kofi Adams has announced a review of the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) recent Black Stars technical team appointments.
Ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in March, the GFA strengthened the team after Ghana’s failure to qualify for the 2025 AFCON—a first in two decades under coach Otto Addo.
New additions include German coach Winfried Schaffer as technical advisor and football director, while U20 coach Desmond Offei replaces Joseph Laumann as assistant coach, joining John Paintsil and Fatawu Dauda. Kris Perquy (psychologist) and Gregory De Grauwe (video analyst) have also joined.
Despite these changes, Adams confirmed plans to reassess the appointments.
