Ghanaian international striker Emmanuel Gyasi suffered relegation with Spezia after a 3-1 home defeat to Hellas Veron in the Serie A playoff on Sunday.
Ibrahim Suleman was in action for Hellas Verona at the Stadio Alberto Picco. Marco Faraoni opened the scoring for Verona before Wales international, Ethan Kwame Ampadu drew Spezia level ten minutes later.
Hella Verona showed they were more determined to stay in the Italian topflight when Cyril Ngonge bagged a first-half brace to put the game out of reach for Spezia, hence condemning them to Serie B.
