The vibrant atmosphere of The Green Gala: Our Curtain Call, held on 3rd May 2025 at Kobi’s Place, East Legon, was made even more memorable as MAX TV/FM received a prestigious honour for its exceptional contribution to the APSU 95th Anniversary Celebrations.
The event, organized by past students of St. Augustine’s College, particularly the APSU 2000 year group, brought together alumni and stakeholders to mark the end of a successful year-long celebration.
MAX TV/FM, through its consistent media support and dedicated coverage, played a crucial role in promoting the anniversary activities. The award was received on behalf of the Imax Media team by Lead Producer Bertha Adu and Sales & Marketing Representative Bismark Donkoh, who were warmly applauded by the audience.
The recognition symbolized the deep appreciation of the APSU community for Imax’s commitment to education-focused media engagement and community outreach.
Beyond the awards and glamour, the APSU 2000 group used the gala as a platform to announce the establishment of a Maintenance Fund. This fund will ensure the long-term upkeep of all infrastructure projects initiated during the 95th Anniversary Celebrations.
In addition, the group has constructed four new boreholes to ease water access on campus — three dedicated to students and one for the teaching staff.
MAX TV/FM expressed its heartfelt gratitude for the recognition and pledged to continue supporting meaningful educational and developmental initiatives.
The event underscored the power of media collaboration and alumni-driven action in shaping the future of institutions and communities.
