Sarfo Gyamfi, a veteran of Asante Kotoko, believes the club is deserving of winning the Ghana Premier League(GPL) title in the 2021/22 season.
With three games remaining till the end of the season, the Porcupine Warriors were crowned league champions.
Asante Kotoko won their 25th league title after a 1-1 draw with Ashanti Gold last Thursday at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
“Asante Kotoko deserves to win the league from the hard work they put in,” Sarfo Gyamfi said.
He said “Asante Kotoko must beef up the defence with two more central defenders, one right back and one left, also an additional midfielder.”
On Sunday, June 12, 2022, when they visit Elmina Sharks in match week 33, coach Prosper Narteh Ogum’s side will be crowned winners with their 25th Premier League title.
Kotoko will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next year as a result of winning the league title.
