The former private chef of Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed the striker has banned milk from his diet to help him stay ripped.
Ronaldo, 41, has been praised for his longevity as he continues to play football into the fifth decade of his life, with the veteran primed to lead the line for a Portugal team hopeful of success at the World Cup this summer.
Now, his former chef has revealed his secret is the absence of milk – because he doesn’t think it’s natural for humans to drink it.
Ronaldo is known to work out for up to four hours and eat six high-protein ‘mini meals’ every day in a bid to keep himself in tip-topshape before using saunas and ice baths to aid his recovery.
The latest measurement of his body fat states sits at an astonishing seven per cent.
‘Cristiano Ronaldo’s diet is balanced,’ Barone said. ‘He eats a little bit of everything, but it’s always healthy.
