PRESIDENT’S CUP: Hon Olcoo calls Hon. Amoakohene bluff; predicts 5-0 win for Hearts

Date:

Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has been tipped to win the 2025 President’s Cup on Sunday, July 6, 2025, by the Greater Accra Regional Minister.

Hearts of Oak are set to take on eternal rivals Asante Kotoko in the battle for the President’s Cup in honour of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana.

The minister, the honourable Linda Ocloo, shared her confidence in the Accra-based club to beat Kotoko by a whopping five goals to nil on Max FM’s Sports Pack show ahead of the game.

Hon. Ocloo, who is expected to make an appearance at the Max TV Tuo Zaafi festival before heading to the Accra Sports Stadium to cheer on her beloved Hearts, called the bluff of Hon. Frank Amoakohene’s (Ashanti Regional Minister) Kotoko’s to silence Accra.

“They said they would silence Accra, but at the end we would win by 5-0— five nil, I tell you,” she said to Nana Darkwa Gyasi.
