A 42-year-old kidnapped man has been rescued by the Northern Regional Police Command.

An operation by the Regional Police Intelligence Directorate led to the arrest of three suspects in Bokpaba on the Bimbilla-Yendi stretch.

The suspects, namely, Haruna Seidu, Amidu Bandi, and Osman Bandi, kidnapped the victim in Wapuli in the Yendi district.

A team of five officers acted quickly on intelligence to rescue the victim and arrest the suspects after an exchange of gunfire on December 5, 2025.

A fourth suspect is believed to be at large after having sustained gunshot wounds.
