Black Queens’ opponent, the Copper Queens of Zambia, safely touched down on Ghanaian soil on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, for the first leg of the Olympic Games qualifier.
The Zambians will begin training at the Accra Sports Stadium today, led by their captain, Babara Banda, and the current world’s most expensive footballer, Rachel Kundananji.
The coach of the Copper Queens, Bruce Mwappe, warned in an interview ahead of their arrival that his side are no “pushovers” and would do all they could to ensure victory.
The first leg will kick off at 5 p.m. at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, February 23, 2024, with the return leg to take place in Ndola on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
