The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has swiftly reacted to reports of the shortage of Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK).
The NPA in an official statement moved to assure the public and the aviation sector of sufficient fuel for aircraft operations.
In the statement, the NPA disclosed the national depots are currently receiving 10,000 metric tonnes of ATK.
The supply is expected to last for two weeks, as two more vessels are currently at anchorage for a scheduled discharge.
