Renowned Nollywood actor, Browny Igboegwu, has called out colleagues over what he describes as a culture of “fake love” and “broad daylight witchcraft.”
He has noticed an insincere affection among the Nollywood actors and has advised them to be genuine.
The actor voiced out the “fake love” mantra among the Nollywood actors in an Instagram post last Tuesday and expressed his frustration with the insincere relationships he observed in the Nigerian film industry.
“Make us take it easy with fake love in this our Nollywood,” he wrote.
Browny was disappointed in his colleagues over the hypocritical act they had been exhibiting over the years, as they were quick to criticize others behind their backs but were quick to celebrate the same people they talked against in public.
“One minute you are saying despicable things about your colleague, and the next minute you are posting and celebrating the same person,” he added.
Browny described this behavior as “broad daylight witchcraft” and warned his colleagues to be genuine and sincere to their feelings.
“Please be genuine with your intentions towards people. Say no to fake love; it is worse than poison. If you can’t say something good about someone, please shut up,” he added.
