Fidelis Ilechukwu has shot down comparisons between himself and the legendary Portuguese coach, Jose Mourinho.
Ilechukwu, 45, has led Enugu Rangers International FC to the Nigerian Professional Football League title with a game to spare.
The Flying Antelope’s head coach disclosed that he prefers to be referred to as “the working one” rather than the famous “special one,” a moniker often attributed to the former Chelsea FC boss.
At his unveiling presser as Chelsea head coach on June 2, 2004, a young Portuguese manager filled with confidence declared he was the “special one” and “not one of the bottles.”
He would go on to win laurels for the Blues, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and AS Roma before joining Fenerbache.
