The Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly, under the leadership of Municipal Chief Executive Kalamu Musa Adamu, has officially launched a week-long cleanup exercise targeting the principal streets within the municipality.
This initiative, which commenced on December 13, 2025, is part of the assembly’s preparations for the forthcoming Christmas festivities, aiming to ensure a clean and festive environment for residents and visitors alike.
The Environmental Health Department of the Assembly is at the forefront of the exercise, working hand-in-hand with management staff and other stakeholders to ensure its success.
According to the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Kalamu Musa Adamu, the primary objective of the cleanup exercise is to ensure a disaster-free Christmas celebration throughout the municipality, promoting a safe and healthy environment for all.
