Golden Kick FC CEO Joseph Epton says his side is confident of beating Asante Kotoko in the much-anticipated MTN FA Cup final, live on Max TV and StarTimes this Sunday, June 15, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The Division One underdogs have already stunned Premier League giants Hearts of Oak and Karela United on their fairytale run to the final. Now, they face the biggest test yet—the Porcupine Warriors, who are chasing a return to continental competition.
“Kotoko are a tough opponent, but we will beat them,” Epton told Asempa FM. “We respect them, but we’re confident. Golden Kick is ready.”
Epton believes this is only the beginning for his Accra-based club.
“In life, you walk before you run. We’ve started walking—and we’re going to finish strong,” he added.
The final promises high stakes and high drama, as Kotoko coach Karim Zito looks to lift silverware after missing out on the league title.
