The C.E.O. of Mobile Zone Ghana, Mr. Maxwell Techie has been presented with the “Outstanding Contribution to Mobile Phone Industry of The Year” award at the 11th Ghana Information Technology and Telecom Awards 2021, held at the Kempinski in Accra, on Saturday, 30th October, 2021.
The event is organized to recognize, reward and showcase the pioneering ICT initiatives driving the Ghanaian private and public sector innovations, with a vision to setting a benchmark for the Region’s wave of development in ICT.
The GITTA award is to recognize and appreciate Mr. Techie for his outstanding contribution to the mobile phone industry in the country, throughout the year under review.
In addition to Mr. Techie’s personal achievement, Mobile Zone Ghana also bagged two addition prestigious awards, namely “Phone Distributor of The Year” and “Smart Phone Brand of The Year”.
Mobile Zone Ghana is the main distribution and retail outlet for Tecno mobile.
Prior to the recent awards, Mobile Zone has won awards over the years for their outstanding distribution of mobile phones over the years, which includes “Leading Dual Sim Mobile Phone Manufacturing Company” and TECNO being adjudged the best “Mobile Distributor of the Year” in 2013 in the GTA awards.
In 2020, TECNO Mobile Limited was adjudged “The Smartphone Brand of The Year” with the popular CAMON 16 series.
At the 3rd edition of the Ghana Telecom Award, TECNO’s main distribution and retail outlet Mobile Zone beat three others to win the award.
GITTA has become the outstanding name in awarding excellent personalities and brands in the world of Information Technology in Ghana.
