Rashid Nortey, a midfielder for Medeama SC, wants to see Ghana win championships.
In previous years, the Black Stars have had difficulty winning awards, and according to Nortey, it is his desire to assist the squad end its trophy drought.
Rashid Nortey, asked about his target, said, “My dream is to play in Europe and also help Ghana win trophies. I want to play for Barcelona or Manchester City because I have always admired those teams.”
The 24-year-old has been spectacular since joining the Yellow and Mauves in 2017.
His current deal with the former MTN FA Cup champions expires in less than seven months.
After an impressive performance in the 2020–21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season, Rashid Nortey received his first call-up to the Ghana national team under CK Akonnor last year.
